Welcome to Friendly Auto Care. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and automotive repair services. By booking a service, leaving your vehicle with us, or using our website, you agree to comply with these terms.

Friendly Auto Care reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Updated terms will be published on this page.

Workshop Safety

For safety reasons, customers and visitors are not permitted to enter the workshop area.

Entry to the workshop is strictly limited to authorised personnel only. Customers must remain in designated waiting or office areas unless accompanied by a staff member.

Parking and Vehicle Responsibility

Vehicles parked outside on the street while waiting for repairs remain the responsibility of the vehicle owner.

Friendly Auto Care is not responsible for vehicles parked outside the premises before their scheduled service.

Customers are encouraged to book an appointment in advance so that we can allocate a parking bay within the workshop premises for their vehicle.

Vehicle Damage and External Events

While we take reasonable care of all vehicles in our possession, Friendly Auto Care will not be responsible for damage caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural events such as flood, hail, storms, or other acts of nature
  • Damage caused by third parties
  • Circumstances outside the control of our workshop

Service Authorization

By leaving your vehicle with Friendly Auto Care, you authorize our technicians to perform the requested inspection, servicing, or repairs.

If additional mechanical issues are discovered during servicing, we will attempt to contact you for approval before proceeding with additional work whenever possible.

Payment Terms

Payment for all services must be completed before the vehicle is released.

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Cash
  • EFTPOS
  • Credit or Debit Card
  • Bank Transfer

An EFTPOS surcharge of 1.6% applies to all card payments.

Vehicle Collection and Storage Fees

Customers will be notified once their vehicle service or repairs are completed.

Vehicles must be collected within 24 hours of notification.

If a vehicle is not collected within this period, a storage fee of $75 per day may apply.

Friendly Auto Care reserves the right to charge storage fees for vehicles left beyond the allowed collection period.

Bank Transfer Payments

If payment is made via bank transfer, the following conditions apply:

  • Bank transfers may take 24 to 48 hours to clear
  • Vehicles will only be released once payment has been received and cleared in our bank account

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Friendly Auto Care is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Delays caused by supplier issues or parts availability
  • Damage resulting from circumstances outside our control

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, branding, and logos, belongs to Friendly Auto Care unless otherwise stated.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.

Changes to Terms

Friendly Auto Care may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on this page.
